This role is responsible for ensuring secure and efficient endpoint operations across a complex hybrid IT environment serving a large enterprise. The Endpoint Engineer | Systems Administrator will manage desktop imaging, application deployment, and device configuration while enforcing compliance with security policies and standards. This position provides Tier 3 technical support, contributes to Zero Trust and RMF initiatives, and works closely with IT teams to optimize endpoint performance. The role offers opportunities to work with modern endpoint management tools, support global infrastructure, and influence the enterprise IT security posture. It is ideal for candidates with strong technical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and hands-on experience in Microsoft endpoint solutions.

- Accountabilities
- Deploy and maintain MECM/Intune endpoint solutions across the enterprise.
- Create, patch, and manage OS images, and deploy software efficiently.
- Enforce compliance with DISA STIGs, NIST standards, and DoD security policies.
- Provision and configure mobile devices securely, maintaining application baselines.
- Provide Tier 3 support for endpoint and application issues.
- Assist with Zero Trust and RMF initiatives, ensuring secure operations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve endpoint architecture and operational efficiency.
- Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Science (ABET or CAE accredited), or baseline IA certification (Security+ or SSCP).
- Computing Environment (CE) certification: Microsoft Endpoint Administrator (MD-102) or Microsoft Intune Administrator.
- Hands-on experience with desktop and endpoint engineering in hybrid IT environments.
- Knowledge of DoD security standards (STIGs, RMF) and endpoint management best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Intune, MECM, MDT, PowerShell, Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Azure AD, Hyper-V, GPO, and application packaging tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship required; eligibility for Public Trust (ADP/IT-II) or Tier 3 Investigation (NACLC) clearance.
