Job Description: You’ll serve as the operational backbone of a mental health practice, ensuring seamless compliance, billing, and documentation processes that directly support patient care. Responsibilities:
- Manage healthcare compliance requirements and ensure all regulatory standards are met
- Handle medical billing processes and insurance authorization procedures
- Maintain and organize patient documentation to ensure everything is properly filed and accessible
- Work directly with executive leadership to ensure all operational aspects run smoothly
- Utilize Excel for data management, reporting, and administrative analysis
- Support back-office operations and administrative workflows
- Ensure documentation integrity and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Coordinate billing cycles and follow up on authorization requirements
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting
- Experience in healthcare, medical billing, or mental health industry preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements and documentation standards
- Understanding of medical billing and insurance authorization processes
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Bonus if you have experience with healthcare software systems
- It helps if you’re familiar with outpatient mental health operations
