This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound cold calling to small businesses to promote monthly accounting and bookkeeping services
- Follow up on warm leads generated from marketing funnels and lead magnets
- Qualify prospects by asking relevant questions about their business needs
- Schedule appointments between qualified prospects and the internal sales team
- Use provided scripts initially while building capability to handle standard objections and questions
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions and outcomes
Requirements:
- At least 3 years recent experience in B2B cold calling and appointment setting
- Strong communication skills and professional phone presence
- Capability to learn and answer 5-10 standard questions about accounting and bookkeeping services
- Experience with CRM systems and lead management processes
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote environment
Scope:
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Eastern with an hour unpaid break
- Primary focus on lead generation and appointment setting for accounting/bookkeeping services
- Target market consists of small businesses across various industries
- Initial role will be heavily scripted with gradual transition to more consultative conversations
- Potential for role evolution into full sales responsibilities over time
- Work directly with company founder and internal sales team
- Performance-based bonus structure expected in addition to base hourly rate
