Key Responsibilities
1. Technical SEO
• Conduct full technical audits (crawlability, site speed, Core Web Vitals, schema, mobile optimisation).
• Monitor and fix indexation, broken links, redirects, and site errors.
• Optimise page structure, URL hierarchy, meta data, and internal linking.
• Manage and maintain Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Tag Manager setups.
2. Keyword & Competitor Analysis
• Perform ongoing keyword research for AU and US markets.
• Track competitor performance, backlinks, and ranking gaps.
• Create and maintain a keyword roadmap targeting high-intent search terms.
• Identify “striking-distance” opportunities (keywords sitting on pages 2–3).
3. Content Strategy & Optimisation
• Develop and manage monthly content calendars with blog and landing-page ideas.
• Optimise all web content for relevance, readability, and on-page SEO.
• Write or brief 2–4 blogs per month (AI-assisted or written collaboratively with marketing).
• Refresh and republish existing top-performing content for freshness and SEO lift.
• Implement author bios, FAQs, and structured data to boost credibility.
4. Link-Building & Authority
• Develop quality link-building campaigns (no spammy tactics).
• Pitch guest posts and build backlinks from DA 30+ industry-relevant sites.
• Monitor backlink health and disavow harmful links.
5. Analytics & Reporting
• Build dashboards to track keyword rankings, traffic, and conversions.
• Provide monthly SEO performance reports with insights and next-step actions.
• Use data to continuously refine on-page and content strategy.
6. AI & Emerging SEO Trends
• Stay current on AI-driven SEO, including LLM/AI content visibility.
• Implement initiatives like llms.txt and schema updates to support AI search discoverability.
