This is a remote position.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with an hour unpaid break | Columbia, South Carolina
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to help the business reach the next level
- Oversee and provide strategic guidance on existing marketing partnerships (Google Ads, Meta advertising)
- Manage daily social media posting and engagement across multiple platforms
- Create fresh, engaging content, including videos and posts, to strengthen brand presence
- Analyze marketing performance metrics, including customer acquisition costs and reach
- Expand social media presence from current Facebook-only to include TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
- Eventually take over Google SEO management from the current external agency
- Collaborate with the business owner on marketing spend allocation and strategy decisions
- Maintain consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels
Requirements
- Proven experience in marketing strategy development and execution
- Strong background in social media management and content creation
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and Google advertising
- Experience with multi-platform social media marketing (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
- Ability to analyze marketing metrics and provide strategic recommendations
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with business leadership
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses preferred
Scope:
