About the Client:
The client operates within the financial and insurance services space, focusing on generating inbound leads through digital marketing campaigns. These leads come from individuals who have already expressed interest by completing online forms or engaging with advertisements. The company is strengthening its follow-up process and improving speed to lead by hiring a dedicated professional to consistently manage outreach, follow-ups, and appointment scheduling through CRM systems.
About the Role:
This position focuses exclusively on outbound calling and follow-up with warm leads who have already shown interest in the client’s services. The Appointment Setter will contact leads promptly, follow a provided script, update the CRM with detailed notes and outcomes, and book short introductory calls directly on the client’s calendar. This is not a sales role and does not require explaining or selling financial products. Performance is measured by consistency, responsiveness, and the ability to keep the client’s calendar filled with qualified appointments.
📝 Key Responsibilities
Monitor inbound leads as they enter the CRM throughout the day
Prioritize rapid response to maximize contact rates
Review lead details before each call to understand context
Call warm leads who have already submitted a form or requested information
Follow the provided script without selling or explaining financial products
Focus exclusively on booking a short five to ten minute call with the client
Handle basic objections only as needed to secure the appointment
Perform consistent follow-up calls with leads who did not answer initially
Log all call attempts, outcomes, and notes accurately in the CRM
Track lead status to ensure no inquiries are missed
Schedule confirmed appointments directly on the client’s calendar
Ensure appointments are properly labeled and organized
Maintain a steady and consistent flow of booked calls
Represent the client professionally as the first point of contact
Escalate detailed product or service questions back to the client
✅ Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience as an appointment setter or outbound caller
Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls daily
Clear and confident spoken English with easy-to-understand pronunciation
Strong communication and active listening skills
Persistent, reliable, and comfortable with structured follow-up work
Basic CRM experience or ability to learn CRM tools quickly
Comfortable following scripts and staying within defined role boundaries
Experience working with warm inbound leads
Background in appointment setting for service-based businesses is preferred
Familiarity with CRMs such as Go High Level or similar platforms is preferred
Experience working with US-based clients is preferred
