The Graphic Designer will be responsible for leading the development and execution of visual and creative concepts that enhance our brand presence and drive engagement across all channels. The Graphic Designer will oversee the workflow, resources and processes involved in the production of creative content. They will ensure creative projects are completed on time and to the required standard. The Graphic Designer is responsible for optimizing creative workflows, managing project timelines and keeping collaboration seamless and efficient among team members and stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong creative vision and a deep understanding of visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Gordian Brand guidelines for all visual components of our brand and ensure all customer-facing content and platforms adhere to the guidelines
- Develop and implement comprehensive visual and creative marketing strategies to support brand objectives and marketing goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product and sales, to ensure cohesive and impactful visual communications.
- Oversee the creation of visual assets, including graphics, videos, trade show booth animations, presentations and other multimedia content for various platforms (web, social media, print, etc.).
- Ensure all visual content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel across all channels.
- In partnership with our campaign owners, brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for visual content that resonates with our target audience and drives engagement
- Bring creative vision to life by overseeing creative development of media productions from concept through execution
- Manage the creative process from concept to completion, including brainstorming, storyboarding, production, post-production and maintaining the Digital Asset Management system (Canto).
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in visual and creative marketing to continually enhance our strategies.
- Analyze the performance of visual content and campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Visual Arts or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in visual and creative marketing, ideally in the software/technology industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work, including graphic design, video production and/or multimedia content.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Strong understanding of branding, visual storytelling, and digital marketing principles.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into compelling visual content.
