Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Front Desk Receptionist / Medical Administrative Assistant to support a busy chiropractic practice. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a critical part in delivering a positive and welcoming experience.
The ideal candidate will manage calls, scheduling, and patient intake while maintaining a polished and friendly presence. As this is a virtual front desk role, the candidate must be comfortable being on camera to greet and assist patients in real time.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Communication (Inbound & Outbound Calls)
- Answer and manage incoming patient calls promptly and professionally
- Conduct outbound calls for appointment confirmations, rescheduling, and follow-ups
- Provide clear, courteous, and patient-focused communication at all times
Scheduling & Calendar Management
- Schedule, reschedule, and manage patient appointments efficiently
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider calendars
- Send appointment reminders and handle cancellations or adjustments
Patient Intake & Coordination
- Guide new patients through the intake and onboarding process
- Accurately collect and document patient information
- Ensure all patient records are properly entered and updated in the system
System & Tools
- ChiroTouch experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with chiropractic or general healthcare workflows is an advantage
Schedule & Coverage
On-Camera (Front Desk Coverage):
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Off-Camera (Administrative Day):
- Tuesday: Phone coverage, scheduling, and administrative tasks (office closed)
Candidate Requirements
- Female candidate preferred for front desk presence
- Excellent Americanized English communication skills
- Professional, polished, and patient-friendly demeanor
- Comfortable and confident appearing on camera
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace
