We are currently looking to hire a Payroll Specialist based in Colombia. This full-time position is a global client service support role that offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company that is creating an entirely new category and is led by a veteran team in this unique industry space. This individual will report to theDirector of America’s Payroll Operations.
At its core, this position is focused on supporting our global client service team by assisting with payroll administration and best practices. How You'll Make An Impact:
Execute payroll for employees across the Americas region, supporting multiple pay frequencies with accuracy and timeliness
Meet defined SLAs for ticket resolution, payroll processing, and calculation accuracy
Ensure accurate and timely payroll transactions and reporting
Validate payroll data across HRIS and payroll systems; provide weekly and ad hoc reporting to internal stakeholders
Process payroll and invoice data within our global finance platform to support audit requirements and deliver accurate client payroll packages
Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate inputs into HR and payroll systems
Support account management teams on payroll and billing inquiries
Maintain strong working knowledge of state, local, regional, and country-specific payroll regulations, including PEO compliance requirements
Let's Connect If You Have:
Minimum 3 years of experience processing payroll with expertise in North America and LATAM
English fluency required
Knowledge of Corporate Accounting or Finance is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to execute in a timely manner ensuring accuracy and follow through
Ability to manage multiple tasks, show independence, adaptability and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy with strong attention to detail
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills and initiative through individual research and drive
Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion, sound judgment, and diplomacy
Experience working in global HRIS / payroll platforms is preferred
Experience working in NetSuite or similar ERP is desirable
Experience working in Expensify or a similar expense management platform is desirable
