Sales Analyst – Retirement Plans Division

What You’ll Do
Proposal Management — 50%
Become the engine behind our sales efforts by managing end‑to‑end proposal delivery:
- Apply underwriting principles and business judgment to recommend optimal plan designs, census requirements, and product options
- Coordinate pricing, proposal creation, fulfillment, and quality checks to ensure excellence in every sales opportunity
Relationship Management — 25%
Strengthen connections across the business:
- Build trusted partnerships with producers, underwriters, sales reps, and client/account managers
- Serve as a key liaison to ensure smooth communication and timely execution
Workload Management — 15%
Thrive in a fast-paced environment:
- Manage 100 proposals per month during peak seasons
- Prioritize effectively and maintain exceptional accuracy under tight timelines
Training & Development — 5%

- Participate in ongoing training to enhance your product knowledge, communication skills, and technical abilities
Summary of the Role
As a Sales Analyst, you’ll be a strategic partner to Retirement Plan Consultants and internal stakeholders. Your work will support sales opportunities, inform decision‑making, and ensure that new clients experience a seamless onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate proposal responses, including pricing, generation, and quality assurance
- Support smooth onboarding for new plans by preparing accurate new business paperwork
- Run coordinated marketing and travel email campaigns in partnership with Communications and Sales teams
- Draft and review RFP responses that highlight our differentiated value proposition
- Maintain CRM data to keep partner insights current and actionable
- Build and maintain a database of competitor pricing and capabilities

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in financial services preferred—especially retirement plans or investment brokerage
- Familiarity with securities, retirement plans sales, or plan administration is a plus

This is a Contract position based out of Portland, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
