Position Overview……
2020 Mobile is seeking a self-motivated team player to join our corporate team as an Insurance Administrative Assistant.
Duties……..
- Assist with the company’s insurance portfolio, including helping track claims and gathering information for coverage assessments.
- Support the Human Resources department with Workers’ Compensation–related documentation and claim follow-up.
- Maintain communication with the company’s insurance brokers and provide requested documentation or information.
- Schedule building/property inspections and follow up on inspection findings with the corporate team as directed.
- Provide administrative support to senior leadership during policy renewal periods by preparing documents, collecting data, and coordinating meetings.
- Complete carrier requests for annual information updates and help gather required materials.
- Assist in preparing and submitting annual carrier audits.
- Maintain and update internal corporate insurance systems and records.
- Communicate with landlords to provide Certificates of Insurance (COI), Evidence of Property (ECP), Waivers of Subrogation (WOS), and other insurance-related documents for each location.
- Review insurance sections of new leases or assignments and prepare a summary for the Leasing Department, escalating questions to senior staff as needed.
- Provide general administrative support for commercial insurance management and related tasks.
- Position Reports to Director of Corporate Services
- This is not a supervisory position.
Skills/Qualifications……
- Preferred minimum of two (2) years experience in corporate insurance or procurement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant commercial insurance experience.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in insurance.
- Exceptional multitasking skills.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be highly organized, pay great attention to detail, and possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and Google Docs, and comfortable learning new software as needed.
Work Environment…….
- Remote in one of the following states: CO, FL, IN, TX, TN
- Days: Monday – Friday
- Hours: Full-Time; Some flexibility on exact start and end times
- More than 90% computer and phone-related tasks.
- Mild to moderate noise level.
Compensation Overview……
- Pay Range: $21.00-$23.00/hour DOE
- The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
- Health Benefits: The company offers Medical, Dental, Vision and Life insurance programs for Full Time employees working a minimum of 30 hours a week.
