Our client is looking for a B2B Outbound Appointment Setter to drive business development and lead generation. In this role, you’ll research target companies, connect with senior decision-makers, and book qualified appointments for the sales team. Your work in prospecting, cold calling, and lead qualification will play a key role in expanding this breakthrough technology across the Australian market.
Responsibilities
Conduct targeted outbound calls to prospects in oil & gas, mining, and chemical industries across Australia
Research and identify high-potential companies within specified sectors
Use prospecting tools like Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to build accurate contact databases
Identify and verify contact details for C-level and senior decision-makers (3–5 key executive titles)
Execute approximately 50 strategic calls per week (200 per month) to qualified prospects
Qualify leads and book appointments with warm, interested prospects
Maintain and nurture a pipeline with consistent follow-up processes
Collaborate with the Regional Manager to expand and refine target company lists
Track and report performance metrics including call volume, conversion rates, and appointment quality
Requirements
Proven experience in B2B outbound calling and appointment setting with measurable results
Proficiency with lead generation platforms (Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator preferred)
Excellent English communication skills with a professional phone presence for Australian business contacts
Track record of achieving 3–5% cold call conversion rates
Strong research skills with ability to connect with C-level executives in industrial companies
Solid understanding of B2B sales processes, lead qualification, and CRM management
Self-motivated, independent, and consistent in hitting activity targets
Prior experience in industrial sectors (oil & gas, mining, chemicals) is highly preferred
Comfortable with 100% cold outreach to prospects with no prior relationship
