Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and empathetic HR Manager to lead our human resources functions, fostering a positive and productive work environment for our global remote team. This remote position is critical for developing and implementing HR strategies that support our rapid growth, talent retention, and compliance across various international contexts. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner with a deep understanding of HR best practices, capable of nurturing a high-performance culture and ensuring the well-being of our diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Tasks

Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing inquiries and resolving conflicts fairly and effectively.
Manage employee benefits programs, compensation structures, and payroll coordination.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

Project Involvement

Design and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top-tier professionals globally.
Develop and implement performance appraisal systems and career development programs.
Lead initiatives for fostering employee engagement, remote team building, and a positive company culture.
Stay updated on international labor laws and HR trends, advising leadership on potential impacts and necessary adjustments.
Spearhead HR technology implementations and improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

2-5 years of proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist, preferably in a remote-first or global/international company.
Solid understanding of HR principles, best practices, and employment laws (familiarity with US and Philippine labor laws is a significant plus).
Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and compensation & benefits.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build trust and rapport across diverse cultures.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet home office environment.
Availability to work on US PST working hours.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
Experience in the recruitment, staffing, or online marketplace industries.
Proven ability to implement HR strategies that support rapid organizational growth.
