In this role, you will be responsible for driving remote sales of specialized service offerings within the life sciences and diagnostics space, supporting customers who are advancing critical scientific and healthcare innovations. You will manage the full inside sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to quoting and closing, while building strong relationships with customers through virtual channels. Working closely with field sales, service teams, and marketing, you will ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize revenue opportunities. Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end inside sales process for service offerings, ensuring strong pipeline development, accurate forecasting, and successful deal closure. You will collaborate across multiple teams to position solutions effectively and deliver tailored proposals that meet customer needs.
- Prospect, qualify, and close service opportunities through phone, email, and virtual engagement channels.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including quoting, proposal creation, and contract closure.
- Partner with field service, account managers, and marketing teams to drive revenue growth.
- Utilize CRM systems (such as Salesforce) to track pipeline activity, customer interactions, and forecasting.
- Communicate the value of service offerings and tailor messaging to customer needs.
- Achieve quarterly and annual service revenue targets through disciplined sales execution.
Requirements:
You bring strong sales experience, ideally within service-based or technical environments, along with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders in complex settings. You are proactive, results-driven, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience in sales, inside sales, or customer-facing commercial roles.
- Experience in service organizations or technical/industrial sales is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with strong accountability and continuous improvement mindset.
