Job Summary
The Assistant Community Manager will support the management and growth of our social media presence across multiple platforms. This is a fully remote, part-time position with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. This role partners closely with the Community Manager to drive engagement, moderate user activity, and ensure our digital communities remain safe, responsive, and aligned with brand voice
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to community interactions across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Reddit
- Support daily engagement through comments, direct messages, and mentions
- Assist in planning and scheduling community-focused content
- Moderate conversations to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and community standards
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and brand-aligned communication style
- Track community trends, sentiment, and frequently asked questions
- Escalate critical feedback, risks, or trends to internal teams
- Contribute to ideation of engagement strategies including campaigns, challenges, and polls
What We Require
- 1–2 years of experience in social media, community management, or digital engagement
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple conversations and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for building online communities and delivering strong user experiences
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week in a remote environment
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with social media management tools such as Meta Business Suite, Later, or Sprout Social
- Experience supporting healthcare, wellness, or lifestyle brands
- Strong problem-solving skills with a calm, solutions-oriented approach
- Interest in content creation and community-driven growth strategies
