Job Overview:
We’re helping our client find a performance-driven Video Editor to create high-converting paid social creatives for fast-growing DTC/ecommerce brands. In this role, you will focus on editing scroll-stopping acquisition ads for Meta, TikTok, and emerging platforms, while contributing directly to customer acquisition and performance growth.
Responsibilities:
- Edit paid social video ads built for acquisition & conversion
- Translate creative briefs into performance-focused executions
- Craft compelling hooks, pacing, and storytelling structures
- Produce high-volume iterations (hooks, CTAs, framing, lengths)
- Iterate quickly based on testing insights & performance data
- Maintain brand standards while optimizing for conversions
- Collaborate closely with Creative Strategists & Producers
Must-Have:
- 4+ years of experience editing paid social / performance video content
- Proven experience with DTC / ecommerce acquisition ads
- Strong instincts for hooks, pacing, and conversion-focused storytelling
- Experience editing UGC-style, founder-led, or product-forward ads
- Comfortable working in fast, testing-heavy environments
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Portfolio showcasing real paid social acquisition ads
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with After Effects
- Experience across Meta & TikTok ad formats
- Background in high-volume creative testing workflows
- Agency experience supporting multiple brands
