Job Description
The Senior Graphic Designer is a creative role responsible for developing visually compelling artwork and product
designs across a wide range of physical merchandise. This role blends artistic vision with commercial strategy,
ensuring that every design aligns with brand identity, market trends, customer appeal and price.
The Senior Graphic Designer will guide creative direction, collaborate crossfunctionally, and produce highquality
assets that elevate product lines and drive sales.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design highimpact artwork for merchandise such as apparel, accessories, packaging,
- collectibles, prints, and promotional items.
- Produce original illustrations, typography, graphics, and patterns tailored to product specifications.
- Translate creative briefs into productionready designs with attention to brand consistency and market trends.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for new product lines.
- Mentor more junior designers and provide constructive creative feedback.
- Work closely with product development, marketing, licensing, and production teams to ensure design
- feasibility and brand alignment.
- Prepare printready files and tech packs, color separations, mockups, and technical specifications for
- manufacturing.
- Ensure designs meet production requirements for screen printing, embroidery, sublimation, cut-and-sew,
- laser engraving, 3D printing, and other manufacturing methods.
- Review samples/prototypes and approve final artwork for production.
- Maintain organized asset libraries and documentation.
- Stay current with design trends, popculture relevance, consumer insights, and competitive product
- landscape.
- Contribute to seasonal trend reports, mood boards, and style guides.
- Uphold and evolve brand identity across merchandise collections.
This position will work in our Nashville, Tennessee offices although fully remote alternatives will be
considered and is eligible for the current, standard company benefit program. For 2026 this includes
health, dental, and vision insurance along with short-term and long-term disability and group life
insurance.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Illustration, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent professional
- experience).
- 5–7+ years of professional experience in merchandise, apparel, consumer products, or similar industries.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with 3D or mockup tools.
- Strong illustration, typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills.
- Expert understanding of print processes, color theory, materials, and manufacturing constraints.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong merchandise or productdriven design experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong problemsolving, attention to detail, and timemanagement skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with leadership capabilities.
