About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Financial Analyst with deep expertise in Power Pivot, Excel, and Power BI to support revenue planning and financial reporting for a large, global Customer & Partner Solutions organization. This role offers high visibility into enterprise‑wide revenue planning, a chance to influence decision‑making, and the opportunity to partner closely with field, engineering, and business stakeholders across a major tech environment.
You will own critical planning reports, build new reporting capabilities, support financial modeling, ensure data accuracy, and deliver high‑value insights that shape strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance planning and financial reporting tools in Excel, Power Pivot, and Power BI.
- Conduct detailed quantitative financial analyses, forecast trends, and provide scenario modeling.
- Produce clear and compelling charts, dashboards, and spreadsheets for executive‑level consumption.
- Analyze complex financial information to support investment decisions and revenue planning.
- Validate data integrity, troubleshoot reporting issues, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
- Present written and verbal financial insights, including summaries of economic, business, and industry trends.
- Partner with field, engineering, and business stakeholders to support their financial analysis needs.
- Manage ad hoc analysis requests and deliver timely, accurate results.
Typical Day in This Role
- Build and refresh planning reports in Excel, Power Pivot, and Power BI.
- Conduct data validation and ensure accuracy across reporting systems.
- Respond to ad hoc analysis needs from stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support forecasting, budgeting, and reporting cycles.
- Develop insights that drive business decisions across a highly visible enterprise team.
Skills & Qualifications
Core Skills

- Expertise analyzing business trends and projecting future revenues/expenses.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and data reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required).
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance) preferred.
- 10+ years of:
- Financial reporting using Power Pivot, Excel, and Power BI.
- Supporting large‑scale enterprise finance functions.
- Experience interacting with and influencing stakeholders.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
