About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Dental Receptionist & Admin Assistant to support a growing dental practice. This role helps reduce daily operational workload, improve patient communication, and keep administrative operations running smoothly. This is a remote, part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Virtual Dental Receptionist & Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Virtual front desk and receptionist support (answering and routing calls)
- Insurance verifications and prior authorizations
- Claims processing and portal management via Vine
- Patient messaging, appointment reminders, and payment follow-ups
- Referral tracking and coordination
- Light bookkeeping assistance (as needed)
- General administrative and ad hoc tasks that do not require in-office presence
- Supporting daily operations to reduce staff workload and burnout
Tools & Systems Used:
- Eaglesoft – Practice management and training
- Vine – Payments, claims, and patient messaging
- Messaging apps / CRM tools such as Slack, Salesforce, WhatsApp, and Skype
- Internal systems for patient-related communication
Experience requirements
- Must have prior dental industry experience
- Experience with dental front desk, insurance verification, and claims workflows
- Familiarity with practice management systems (Eaglesoft, Vine, Mango, or similar)
- Strong English communication skills for patient-facing interactions
- High attention to detail, especially for insurance and billing tasks
- Reliable with consistent attendance (non-negotiable)
- Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
- Willingness to learn and follow established office workflows and HIPAA standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bookkeeping experience (a plus, but not required)
- Experience working remotely in a dental or healthcare setting

Basic requirements
- Be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding [mandatory]
- Must be available for video meetings with your camera on (when needed)
