Community Manager
At Maestro, Reddit isn't just "social media", it's a trust-building machine. Prospective students research us there. Current students discuss real experiences. Alumni share outcomes. Done well, r/maestro becomes a conversion asset, a retention tool, and a reputation safeguard all at once.
You'll turn that theory into reality.
What you'll do
Community moderation
- Approve posts and comments, and step in when conversations need guidance
- Flag important feedback or issues to the team.
- Draft posts, prompts, and responses that drive foster trust
Community growth
- Track engagement patterns: what drives retention vs. what creates noise
- Share insights with Product and Marketing teams when you see patterns.
- Initiate and implement engagement routines (AMAs, themed threads, product updates, discussion series)
Requirements
Core skills
- Strong understanding of Reddit culture, mechanics, and what makes content succeed or fail- Must
- Excellent judgment under ambiguity – can make moderation calls that align with strategy, not just enforce rules mechanically
- Strong written communication skills – clear, direct, engaging tone that matches Maestro's voice
Practical requirements
- Available for evening/overnight and weekend
- Native English speaker
- Based in Israel
- Comfortable working independently – you'll often be the only person online
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with EdTech, career communities, or student-focused spaces
- Experience building or working with AI agents or automation tools (e.g., AutoModerator configuration, bots, workflow automation)
- Content creation experience – writing posts, guides, or community content that drives engagement
