Job Overview:
We’re helping our client, find a Social Media & Community Manager to lead the organic growth and engagement strategy for a lifestyle and boating brand built around community, content, and culture. This role combines creative storytelling, social engagement, and influencer collaboration to bring the brand to life across platforms.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
- Manage and grow the brand's presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook/Meta, and YouTube Shorts.
- Own the social content calendar — plan, schedule, and publish engaging content daily and weekly.
- Stay on top of trends and create platform-native content that drives conversation and reach.
- Track key metrics: follower growth, engagement rate, reach, UGC inflow, saves, and shares.
Community Management
- Engage with the community daily across comments, DMs, and stories.
- Manage and grow the brand's Facebook Group, WhatsApp chat, and ambassador program (using Social Snowball).
- Activate the community with polls, giveaways, live sessions, and content challenges.
- Collect and share feedback, insights, and user-generated content with the broader marketing team.
Influencer & Creator Partnerships
- Support the brand’s three-tier influencer program:
- Tier A: Build partnerships with top influencers
- Tier B: Manage mid-tier influencer collaborations and partnership ad cycles.
- Tier C: Work with creators and boat owners to produce authentic content.
- Lead influencer outreach and relationship management, ensuring a consistent and collaborative experience.
- Help streamline communications and explore automation tools to improve influencer engagement.
- Build and maintain an active network of advocates — an “army” of creators and fans who amplify the brand.
Must-Have:
- Exceptional English communication skills — both written and spoken.
- Strong social skills with a natural ability to connect, communicate, and build relationships online.
- Proven experience managing social media, communities, and influencer programs.
- Deep understanding of social platforms, trends, and engagement tactics.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and brand tone.
- Experience in lifestyle, consumer, or community-driven brands is a plus.
