Gravyty is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. In this strategic and highly visible role, you will help shape the company’s financial direction by leading core FP&A functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis. You will partner directly with senior and Executive leadership to drive data-informed decisions that ensure Gravyty’s financial health and long-term growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong analytical and communication skills, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment with competing priorities. This position provides support to global teams.
This is a fully remote role and can be held by an employee living in Canada or the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and streamline FP&A processes to drive operational efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, analytical tools and internal processes – establishing scalable foundation for future growth
- Lead financial planning cycles, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and business objectives
- Serve as trusted business partner by building strong cross-functional relationships with senior and Executive leadership to integrate financial insights into operational decisions and ensure alignment
- Deliver comprehensive variance analysis of financial performance against forecast, budget and prior year; identify trends, risks and opportunities, and communicate actionable insights to senior leadership
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business cases, strategic initiatives and investment decisions
- Assist with month-end close review, validating the accuracy of financial transactions and partnering with the Accounting team to resolve discrepancies and ensure data integrity
- Support M&A initiatives and post-acquisition integration, which include, but are not limited to synergy tracking, proforma P&L analysis and financial due diligence
- Prepare and analyze standardized financial reports (e.g. income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, monthly closing reports, and management reporting) according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or other regulatory requirements
- Contribute to ad hoc analyses and strategic initiatives to support evolving business priorities and long-term organizational growth
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience in FP&A or Corporate Finance; SaaS experience a plus
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and translate insights into actional recommendations
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, with focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting with demonstrated experience in building and maintaining dynamic financial tools and reports
- Strategic and inquisitive mindset with passion for process improvement and growth/development
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment, exercising sound judgement and initiative
- Advanced knowledge of financial software and tools (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Google Slides, NetSuite, Salesforce preferred)
