Role Name: Outbound Appointment Setter
Schedule:
Client Timezone: Pacific Time (Los Angeles)
Responsibilities:
Make outbound phone calls to sneaker retailers and service providers from provided lead lists
Conduct initial outreach and screening to introduce the marketplace platform
Qualify leads by asking qualifying questions and understanding their business needs
Address questions, hesitations, and objections using provided scripts and materials
Follow up persistently but professionally with prospects to build relationships
Send emails with support materials and links when prospects request information before calls
Set definite appointment times with strong commitment for founders to close deals
Focus on depth and relationship building rather than high call volume
Work with approximately 30 companies per geographic area to secure 2-5 partners per area
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills and professional phone presence
Sales experience with ability to handle objections and qualify leads
Persistent but not annoying approach to follow-up
Ability to gain prospect interest and secure strong appointment commitments
Experience with relationship-based selling rather than high-volume cold calling
Comfortable working with scripts, FAQs, and sales materials
Ability to work independently while following established processes
Scopes:
Focus on outbound appointment setting rather than closing sales
Work with provided lead lists of sneaker retailers and service providers
Geographic focus on specific markets (mentioned Dallas and Los Angeles as examples)
Potential to expand to full-time and additional responsibilities based on performance
May evolve to include customer support functions as the business grows
