The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conceptualizing and executing social media content across platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, TikTok etc.)
- Edit short-form videos and reels using trending formats, transitions, and sounds
- Support in scheduling and publishing daily posts
- Help in monitoring performance metrics and brainstorming ways to grow engagement
- Collaborate with the creative and editorial teams for campaign and daily content ideas
- Stay updated with social media trends, memes, and viral formats
Requirements
- Decent understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok culture
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar video editing tools
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Canva is a plus
- Great communication skills and attention to detail
- A creative thinker who can work in a fast-paced digital environment
- Currently enrolled in a relevant field of study, such as journalism, communications, marketing, or a related discipline
- Strong creative writing skills with an ability to craft engaging captions and content
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and an understanding of trends in content sharing.
- Ability to adapt content for different social media channels
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Experience handling or creating content for a social media page
- Basic understanding of analytics and post-performance tools
