The Senior Epic Client Systems Administrator will play a pivotal role in the Epic Client Systems team, leveraging their deep expertise to drive the strategic management and maintenance of the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. This visionary facilitator will have a university-wide impact, ensuring the reliability, optimized performance, and security of the Epic infrastructure. They will oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Epic client systems and related infrastructure, manage system updates and patches, continuously monitor system performance, and implement robust security protocols. Additionally, the Senior Administrator will provide advanced technical support and training to end-users, enhancing their ability to effectively utilize the Epic system. Serving as a technical expert, they will guide the Epic Client Systems Administrator team in the design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Epic infrastructure. By driving the adoption of innovative solutions and best practices, the Senior Epic Client Systems Administrator will be instrumental in advancing the University’s technology landscape.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The annual salary range for this position is $121,900-$277,100. Certain terms and conditions of employment for this position, including the rate of pay, benefits, etc., are currently subject to negotiation with the appropriate union.
