We’re looking for a structured, analytical SEO Specialist to own and scale organic growth for a growing accounting automation firm.
This organization helps businesses modernize financial operations through workflow optimization, system design, and smarter use of tools like QuickBooks Online. Positioned within the accounting advisory space, it combines financial expertise with automation-first thinking to reduce manual work and improve operational clarity.
This role will take ownership of search strategy across technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content direction. You will operate with clear performance goals tied to traffic quality, keyword rankings, and pipeline contribution. We are looking for someone who understands how to build long-term organic growth inside a B2B environment and can execute with both strategic thinking and hands-on precision.
Agency experience is strongly preferred.

What You’ll Work OnSEO Strategy and Roadmap
- Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO roadmap aligned with revenue goals
- Conduct keyword research focused on high-intent, B2B search terms
- Identify content gaps and ranking opportunities within accounting and automation topics
- Prioritize initiatives based on impact, effort, and business alignment
Technical SEO
- Conduct regular technical audits and implement improvements
- Optimize site architecture, internal linking, and crawl efficiency
- Monitor indexing, Core Web Vitals, and overall site health
- Collaborate with developers to implement technical fixes correctly
On-Page and Content Optimization
- Optimize existing content for keyword alignment and search intent
- Provide structured content briefs for new articles and landing pages
- Improve metadata, schema markup, and on-page structure
- Align SEO strategy with paid and broader marketing initiatives
Reporting and Performance Tracking
- Monitor rankings, traffic quality, and conversion impact
- Build clear reporting dashboards with actionable insights
- Analyze competitor performance and search landscape shifts
- Continuously refine strategy based on performance data
What You Bring
- 3 to 6+ years of SEO experience, ideally within an agency environment
- Proven experience driving organic growth for B2B or professional services companies
- Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals
- Experience with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics
- Ability to translate SEO data into clear strategic recommendations
- Structured approach to prioritization and execution
- Comfort operating independently in a remote, startup environment
Nice to Have
- Experience in accounting, finance, SaaS, or automation industries
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or financial software ecosystems
- Exposure to CRO and landing page optimization
- Experience collaborating with paid media teams for integrated search strategy
