We are looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing sophisticated SEO initiatives and supporting high-value client accounts. This role combines deep technical and content optimization expertise with a problem-solving mindset, contributing to strategic projects and guiding junior team members.
As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will work closely with SEO Managers, SEO Specialists, Developers, and cross-functional teams, combining analytical thinking with technical expertise to enhance crawlability, indexation, site speed, structured data, and more.
This role reports to the SEO Manager. You’ll collaborate closely with your SEO peers, as well as with clients’ development agencies and marketing teams to ensure SEO is seamlessly integrated into broader digital strategies.
Responsibilities:
· Execute advanced technical SEO audits, comprehensive keyword analyses, and detailed on-page/off-page optimization projects.
· Assist in the SEO performance growth of enterprise-level, multi-national/multi-lingual websites
· Develop a strong understanding of clients’ businesses to identify opportunities or issues, and advise them on SEO-related strategies
· Support the SEO Manager in developing tailored strategies aligned with client goals.
· Monitor and analyze website performance, providing actionable recommendations.
· Prepare optimization roadmaps and maintain best-practice documentation and technical guidelines.
· Contribute to client presentations and performance reviews.
· Keep up to date with the latest SEO trends, tools, and algorithm changes to continually refine practices.
· Participate in organization of team tasks and in team- or company-wide projects
Qualifications & Requirements:
· At least 3 years of SEO experience on agency or client side.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computing or similar area
· Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Keyword Planner, Moz, SeRanking, Google Analytics, ahrefs etc.)
· Experience with analytics packages such as Google Analytics
· Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Magento, Shopify, etc.) and their SEO capabilities
· Enthusiastic, curious and self-motivated individual, setting and following high standards
· Superior time management and organizational skills
· Strong attention to detail essential
· Numerical and analytical – works with figures, pivot tables, charts and formulas at ease
· Proactive, and takes ownership of work
· Eagerness to roll up your sleeves and dive in on challenging, complex problems with no clear solutions
· Clear verbal and written communication skills, in professional Greek and English
· Experience in using Microsoft Office tools daily
· Up-to-date Google certifications a plus
