Job Description This is an exciting opportunity to serve as the vital first point of contact for clients seeking mental health services while also contributing to the organization's technological infrastructure. You'll play a dual role combining compassionate client services with technical administrative support, having a direct impact on both client experience and operational efficiency. This position offers the unique opportunity to develop diverse skills across client relations, healthcare administration, and technology management while working with a team dedicated to improving lives through quality mental healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive client intake assessments via phone, gathering essential demographic and clinical information with empathy and professionalism
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, providing excellent customer service while scheduling appointments efficiently
- Perform accurate data entry for client information, scheduling systems, and administrative records
- Support HR functions and complete various clerical tasks during quieter periods to maintain operational flow
- Design and maintain internal Microsoft-based systems and infrastructure to improve organizational efficiency
- Coordinate paperwork processing between clients and therapists to ensure seamless care transitions
- Provide flexible administrative support across multiple departments as business needs evolve
Requirements
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a warm, professional phone presence suitable for healthcare environments
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated ability to build and maintain internal Microsoft infrastructure
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during standard US business hours
- Professional demeanor when interacting with clients experiencing mental health challenges
- Previous experience in mental health, behavioral health, or healthcare settings is strongly preferred but not required
- Eagerness to learn healthcare-specific processes and willingness to undergo comprehensive training
- Ability to multitask effectively between client-facing responsibilities and technical administrative work
