The Senior Designer is responsible for the conceptualization and execution of designs across print and digital channels. The role requires a strong balance of high-level creative thinking and technical production expertise. The designer must confidently manage multiple projects within a fast-paced agency environment, ensuring all outputs are brand aligned, technically sound, and delivered on time in full accordance with brief requirements. The role also includes providing guidance and constructive feedback to Marketing Executives, who, on occasion, will provide support in delivering social media tiles when the Senior Weight Designer is at capacity.

Responsibilities
- Creative Execution
- Integrated Design: Deliver high-quality designs for landing pages, eDMs, and social media tiles, web banners and more.
- Brand Identity: Interpret and apply existing brand guidelines with precision. Contribute to the development of new brand identities, including logo marks, colour palettes, and typography systems.
- Event Merchandise: Design and oversee the production of apparel, event merchandise, and physical handouts, ensuring brand consistency across different materials.
- Technical Production & Web
- Print Preparation: Setting up complex files for production, with a thorough understanding of working with CMYK and spot colours, bleed, trim etc.
- Website Maintenance: Execute minor front-end updates and layout changes within CMS platforms such as WordPress and Wix.
- Process Innovation: Apply existing AI tool knowledge to improve workflow efficiency, or demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and implement AI tools and processes where required.
- Client & Project Management
- Quality Assurance: Perform thorough pre-flight checks on all digital and print files to reduce the risk of errors or issues.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead client-facing workshops and design presentations. Articulate the strategic "why" behind creative decisions to non-design stakeholders.
- Time & Resource Discipline: Maintain rigorous time-tracking records for all tasks in Accelo. Manage multiple competing briefs simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met without a reduction in quality.

- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional design experience, ideally in an agency setting.
- Software Proficiency:
- Expert-level command of Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Desirable: Proficiency in After Effects or Premiere Pro for motion graphics and video editing.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of the print production process
- Basic HTML/CSS skills or a willingness to learn and upskill in this area.
