Our client is a fast-growing media and content company producing high-volume, social-first video content across multiple platforms. They specialize in short-form videos, podcast clips, and engaging digital media designed for fast-paced online audiences.
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Podcast Video Editor (Short-form) to support ongoing content production. This is a part-time, project-based role with a schedule aligned to ET hours (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM ET or 10:00 PM – 4:00 AM PHT).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Edit short-form video content (primarily 30–90 second clips) for social media platforms
- Produce podcast clips across multiple shows (approximately 12+ clips per week)
- Create additional social content including:
- Show/series edits
- Miscellaneous social media videos
- Incorporate brand elements such as:
- Captions/subtitles
- Lower thirds
- Intro/outro elements
- Music and sound design
- Motion graphics
- Collaborate with producers on creative reviews and revisions
- Ensure fast turnaround times (same day or within 24 hours when needed)
- 1–2 years of video editing experience (Junior level)
- Strong experience editing social-first video content
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (all programs)
- Strong attention to pacing, storytelling, and visual flow
- Ability to manage high-volume workloads with quick turnaround times
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with media, content, or digital publishing environments
- Experience working on podcast or sports-related content
- Familiarity with fast-paced content styles
