About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled and creative Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, scroll-stopping content across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone who understands short-form content, storytelling, pacing, and performance-driven editing, not just clean cuts.
You’ll work closely with the marketing and content team to produce compelling video assets that drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and paid social.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Production
- Edit short-form and long-form video content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, Ads)
- Transform raw footage into engaging, polished videos
- Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and music
- Optimize pacing for retention and watch time
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form snippets
Performance-Driven Creative
- Understand hooks, retention editing, and viral trends
- Implement platform-specific editing styles
- Create multiple variations for A/B testing
- Edit with conversion goals in mind (for ads and paid campaigns)
- Stay updated with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube trends
Brand & Creative Alignment
- Maintain brand tone, style, and visual consistency
- Collaborate with content strategists and marketing teams
- Interpret briefs and deliver high-quality output quickly
- Incorporate feedback efficiently and meet tight deadlines
- 2+ years of professional video editing experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing short-form content
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- CapCut (preferred for short-form)
- Final Cut Pro (optional)
- Strong understanding of social media content formats
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
