About the Client
The client is a results-driven digital marketing agency helping local U.S.-based businesses improve their online presence and revenue. The agency specializes in the Home Services industry (contractors, roofers, etc.) and offers high-impact services such as Negative Review Removal.
Previously referral-based, the company is now scaling aggressively and is building a strong outbound engine to drive new client acquisition.
About the Role
This is a pure outbound appointment setting role - not a sales or closing position. The Virtual Assistant will focus exclusively on cold outreach to business owners, initiating conversations, identifying pain points, and booking qualified appointments for the agency owner.
The role will begin as part-time during the first 1–2 weeks as a trial period. High performers who consistently book qualified appointments may be offered a full-time schedule.
Success in this role requires confidence on the phone, strong English communication, and prior experience speaking with U.S.-based business owners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Sourcing & Prospecting
- Manually source leads using Google Maps and Google Search (no recycled or purchased lists)
- Search by location and niche (e.g., “Roofers in San Diego”)
- Identify businesses with negative or one-star reviews as primary prospects
- Build and maintain self-generated prospecting lists and a steady lead pipeline
Cold Outreach & Appointment Setting
- Execute 30–50 outbound calls per day
- Consistently book 1–2 qualified appointments daily
- Build rapport quickly and navigate gatekeepers to reach decision-makers
- Schedule and confirm meetings between interested business owners and the Agency Owner
Brand Representation
- Act as the first point of contact for the agency
- Maintain a professional, confident, and authoritative phone presence
- Handle objections naturally and assertively without sounding scripted

- Strong outbound sales mentality with a proactive, go-getter attitude
- High resilience and ability to perform in a rejection-heavy environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal training
Technical & Experience Requirements
- Near-native or native-level English fluency with a neutral or authoritative accent
- Professional home office setup (computer, noise-canceling headset, stable high-speed internet)
- Previous experience in cold calling or appointment setting for marketing agencies or B2B services (strongly preferred)
