About the Role
We are seeking a versatile Video Editor who can bring stories to life across multiple formats — from short, snappy content (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Reels) to longer-form videos (YouTube, tutorials, interviews, podcasts, ads). You should understand how to tailor content to each platform and audience, ensuring every video has a clear purpose and impact.
Short-form editing will be an important part of the role, but you’ll also have the opportunity to work on bigger projects that require pacing, storytelling, and polish.
Responsibilities
- Edit and produce both short-form and long-form video content.
- Create strong hooks and use CTAs effectively to drive engagement.
- Repurpose long-form recordings into short highlights and clips.
- Add captions, motion graphics, and effects to enhance viewer retention.
- Work with the content/marketing team to develop fresh creative ideas.
- Ensure brand consistency in tone, style, and visual identity across all videos.
- Stay up-to-date with trends in editing, storytelling, and platform algorithms.
- Proven editing experience with both short and long-form content.
- Skilled in industry-standard editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual style.
- Knowledge of how to optimize videos for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Creative mindset with the ability to adapt content for different audiences.
Nice to Have
- Motion graphics or animation skills.
- Experience editing ads or promotional content.
- Knowledge of content strategy, audience psychology, and analytics.
