Lanterna is based in Stockholm, Sweden, but this is a fully remote, flexible role with no set working hours. This is a 0.5 or “zero hours” contract, where work will flex throughout the academic year, with an average of 20 hours per week

About the role
Lanterna’s Schools team solves the teacher crisis for a global network of schools, providing short and long-term online teaching coverage as every school’s “Remote IB Teacher Workforce”. Although Lanterna has been around for almost 20 years, providing unrivalled tutoring and prep courses for students, the B2B arm of our business is still nascent but growing extremely fast. In our first three full year of operations, we have grown rapidly, now serving over 300 IB schools around the world.
You will be on the Operations team, consisting of 5 team members, who hire and train teachers, build the technology platform and are responsible for the quality delivery of our learning solutions to schools. You will be responsible for vetting and interviewing prospective teachers, supporting the administration of their training, onboarding, safeguarding and more. You will be the community voice which helps to support, train, guide and retain the exceptional talent we welcome to our teaching team.
