Role Overview
The Video Editor will bring the brand’s thought leadership and expertise to life through engaging, platform-tailored video content. This role is responsible for developing and executing a social video strategy across platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, and X, transforming webinars, events, and expert insights into concise, high-impact videos that resonate with a professional B2B audience.
The ideal candidate blends creativity with precision, making corporate content compelling while maintaining the company’s tone and visual identity.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production & Editing
Edit and produce social-first video content for LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and X that aligns with the brand’s tone and messaging.
Repurpose webinars and long-form videos into short, engaging clips with captions and branded motion graphics.
Content Strategy & Collaboration
Work closely with subject-matter experts (SMEs) to capture short commentary videos and “hot takes” on trending regulatory topics.
Collaborate with marketing, content, and design teams to align video concepts with overall campaigns and brand initiatives.
Stay current with social video trends and adapt creative ideas for a professional B2B audience.
Channel Management & Optimization
Manage YouTube-related tasks, including uploads, optimizing descriptions, thumbnails, and end screens.
Maintain consistent visual identity and tone across all video channels and assets.
Qualifications
Experience
3+ years of experience in video editing, ideally within a B2B or professional services environment.
Experience integrating motion graphics, captions, and brand elements to enhance engagement.
Experience managing multiple video projects simultaneously in fast-paced settings.
Skills
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or Descript.
Strong understanding of LinkedIn and YouTube best practices for short-form content.
Creative storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics visually.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in cross-team collaboration.
Open to experimentation and continuous improvement in a dynamic marketing environment.
